Bonjour. Welcome to Te Waka Ako’s Showcase. Last night we showed our Showcase work to our parents. I showed my mum my Duckling Palace and I showed her my story General P’s Naughty Recruits Part I. She thought they were awesome. I felt happy and calm. Then we ate some sausages cooked by Mr Ben. Mr Ben liked my story, too. The sausages were delicious.

I took a look around at other people’s art. Everybody’s art was fantastic. Then it was time to go home. This was the second time I stayed late at school in two weeks, because last week we had a disco (on the 23rd)! There were lots of snacks, food and dance lights. There was even candy there! I was leading the choo-choo train on the dance floor.
